Honestly, Storm Radar has saved my bacon more than once! I was hiking in the Scottish Highlands last year, miles from anywhere, and this app gave me the heads-up about a massive storm rolling in. I managed to find a bothy just in time, thanks to the detailed radar. It works perfectly even in rural spots where the signal is rubbish, which is brilliant. Plus, it doesn't eat up your roaming data too much, which is always a bonus when you're bouncing around Europe. The detailed views are just proper useful for planning hikes and knowing when to bail out if things get a bit hairy.
