Honestly, Rave has been brilliant for keeping up with my friends while I'm galavanting around. It works a treat for watching movies together, even when I'm in, say, a tiny village in Vietnam and they're back in Dublin. You can sync up your Netflix, YouTube, Vimeo – even Crunchyroll, if you're into anime. It's so much better than just texting each other while watching something separately. The best part is that it doesn't eat up your roaming data too badly, which is always a plus. It’s also sorted out the issue of different time zones, as we can pause and rewind together. It's made those long-distance friendships feel a bit closer, you know?
