Okay, so I stumbled on Music Tiles 2, and it's actually pretty cool. I'm not musically inclined, like at all, but the gameplay is simple enough that even *I* can keep up. It's kinda like Guitar Hero but for piano, and way less intimidating. The visuals are decent – the graphs are actually readable, which is key – and the responsiveness is solid. I haven't dug into the API stuff (if there even IS any), but for a casual game to zone out to, it's surprisingly addictive. I've been tracking my progress (naturally), and my reaction time has actually improved. Statistically satisfying! Plus, at a 4.49 rating, it's data nerd approved. Beats doomscrolling, that's for sure. I'd say it's a good way to kill time and maybe even trick yourself into thinking you're learning something. Finally, goodbye to Excel hell for a few minutes.
Key Features
Simple, engaging gameplay
Good for improving reaction time (data-backed, of course)
Surprisingly zen for a mobile game
"A very fun and addictive game. I love how the songs are free and easy to play."
