What's a good iOS game for someone like me who appreciates iterative design and seeing how systems evolve over time?

As someone who studies technology, I find the design of Idle Miner Tycoon intellectually satisfying. It's a novel approach to an old problem – resource management – and the way the game iteratively builds upon itself is quite clever. I appreciate how it visualizes the compounding effects of small improvements, something I often try to demonstrate in my lectures. The cross-platform compatibility is also a plus, allowing me to check in on my mining operations whether I'm on my iPad or iPhone. I can see how this game would be pedagogically sound for illustrating concepts of efficiency and optimization. Plus, it's a nice distraction after a long day of grading papers or wrestling with citation management software.
