Alright, so I've been looking for a decent app to streamline attendance and participation tracking. You know, back in my day, it was all paper and pen, but the kids these days are all about their phones. So, I figured I should try and meet them halfway. I stumbled upon Volaris 2.0, and while the interface isn't exactly what I'm used to (why do they hide the settings button there?), once you get the hang of it, it's surprisingly intuitive. It's like having a teaching assistant in your pocket, though one that occasionally needs a software update. I can mark who's present, absent, and even jot down quick notes about participation. My students actually showed me a trick to export the data to a spreadsheet, which makes grading a whole lot easier. It's not perfect, the 2.14 rating is a bit concerning, but for a basic classroom management tool, even I could figure it out.
Key Features
Keeps track of student attendance
Allows for notes on student participation
Exports data to spreadsheets (thanks to my students!)
"Needs more features and better design."
