Look, I'm not usually one for this fancy customization crap, but my daughter was on my case about my phone looking like it's from the Stone Age. So, I tried iThemes. It's actually pretty straightforward, even for a guy who prefers a hammer to a touchscreen most days. You can change the icons, add widgets... make it look like *your* phone, not some cookie-cutter thing. The ads are a pain, I'll give you that, but you can get some decent themes without spending a dime. It ain't built like a brick house, probably, but it hasn't crashed on me yet. Battery life seems okay, but I haven't used it enough to really tell. If you're looking to spice up your phone without needing a degree in graphic design, iThemes gets the job done.
Key Features
Tons of themes to choose from, even if some are a little too flashy for my taste.
Easy to change icons without needing to be a tech wizard.
Widgets give you quick info without opening a bunch of apps.
