You can filter alerts by proximity, which is clutch if you only care about stuff happening nearby. Submitting your own sighting is straightforward too; they've got a simple form to fill out. Reminds me of some citizen science projects, but with UFOs. The community aspect seems cool, although I haven't dove too deep into that yet. Loads in about 2-3 seconds on my Pixel 7 via emulator, so it's optimized enough.
