Okay, so the OSHA-NIOSH Heat Safety Tool is pretty clutch if you're working outdoors, especially during the summer. It's made by the CDC, so you know it's got some legit science behind it. Basically, it gives you the heat index based on your location, tells you the risk level (like, low, moderate, high, extreme), and gives you advice on what precautions to take. The dev team really thought about the user experience. Plus, it's got a section on symptoms of heat-related illnesses and what first aid to give, which is super important. It even works in Spanish, which is a nice touch for diverse work crews. From a technical standpoint, the UI is clean and it loads pretty fast, maybe 2 seconds on my iPhone. It's not flashy, but it gets the job done, and that's what matters when you're trying to stay safe in the heat.

"I travel the country and have referred to this app in many places. It is always precise, accurate and very helpful. I love the precautionary, symptom and fist aide tabsβ¦.. Also available in Spanish so communication is not an issue. Love it and share it with everyone!"
