What's a good dating app where it's free to actually, you know, send messages and connect with people?

Now, I'm not one for dating apps myself, but I had a student – bless her heart, always trying to set me up – tell me about this HapEnd thing. She said it's one of the few where you don't have to pay just to send a simple message. Seems like a lot of these apps nickel and dime you these days. I always tell my students, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is," but if some folks are saying HapEnd lets you text for free, it might be worth a look. Of course, be careful out there, meeting strangers online. That's just common sense. I always say, it's like crossing the street – look both ways! I haven't tried it myself, mind you, but if free texting is what you're after, HapEnd might be worth a peek. Just remember to be safe and smart about it. It's better to be cautious than catfished, as the kids say. Why do they have to make up new words all the time?
