Okay, so I've been messing around with Simply Sing, and from a technical standpoint, it's surprisingly decent for a mobile app. The UI is clean β no spaghetti code situations here, thankfully. It lets you record your voice, obviously, and the latency is low enough that it doesn't throw you off while singing; I'd say it's maybe 50-70ms on my Pixel 7. The effects are basic β reverb, echo, that kind of thing β but they're enough to make your voice sound less like you're singing in your bathroom (unless that's the vibe you're going for, no judgment). The dev team really thought about keeping it simple, which I appreciate. It's not trying to be a full-blown DAW, but it's perfect for quick vocal recordings and messing around with ideas. Plus, it barely uses 60MB of RAM, so it won't hog your phone's resources. Definitely worth checking out if you want a simple, no-fuss singing app.
