Alright, so I've been messing around with InkNovel, and honestly, it's not bad. The big thing is the ad situation. You know how some of these 'free' reading apps hit you with an ad after every chapter? Super annoying. InkNovel's way more laid back. The ads are there, but they're not constantly in your face, which is a huge win in my book. I've been able to dive into a couple of novels without wanting to chuck my phone across the room. From a technical standpoint, the app itself is pretty lightweight β barely uses 50MB of RAM. Loading a chapter takes maybe 2-3 seconds on my Pixel 7, so no complaints there. The dev team really thought about the user experience here, and it shows. No more spaghetti code situations leading to constant crashes, hopefully! It's a solid option if you just want to read without the constant interruptions. The API integration for pulling in the novels seems smooth - basically means it talks to other services really well.
