Okay, so I'm usually all about supporting local coffee shops, but when I'm driving from Vancouver to, like, Philly, Wawa is a lifesaver. Their app is surprisingly design-forward. The information architecture actually makes sense, which is rare for a convenience store app, tbh. You can customize your entire hoagie situation, and their iced coffees are a must. The whole process is streamlined, and I appreciate that they've clearly put some thought into the UX. Plus, mobile ordering means I can skip the lines and just grab my stuff โ which, let's be honest, is crucial when you're trying to make good time on a road trip. And the accessibility features are pretty solid, too, which is always a plus in my book. It's not gonna win any design awards, but it gets the job done, and it does it well. Plus, those hover states tho!
