Okay, so I've been messing around with Neshan, and I gotta say, for a free navigation app, it's pretty impressive. The map data seems super up-to-date, which is a big deal, especially in a city like Tehran where things are always changing. The offline maps are a lifesaver if you're trying to save on data, or if your connection is spotty. Under the hood, it looks like they're using some clever algorithms to calculate routes, because it usually finds pretty efficient paths. The traffic data is surprisingly accurate; it's not perfect, but it's definitely better than some of the other apps I've tried. From a technical standpoint, the UI is clean and easy to use, and it barely uses 60MB of RAM while navigating, which is great. I'm not seeing any spaghetti code situations here. The dev team really thought about keeping it lightweight and responsive. Loads in about 3 seconds on my Pixel 7. Definitely worth checking out if you need a reliable navigator, especially if you're trying to avoid those infamous Tehran traffic jams.
