Your Question

What's a good Android app for keeping track of what I'm shoveling into my gut? Need something that's no BS and gets the job done.

Lose It! is what I use. It ain't pretty, but it tracks calories. Tutorial's useless, but you'll figure it out. Gets the job done, even with gloves on.

Alright, so I've been using Calorie Counter by Lose It! for a few months now. Look, the tutorial is complete garbage, but once you figure out how to actually log your food, it's solid. I'm not saying it's 'built like a brick house,' but it hasn't crashed on me yet, even after dropping my phone a couple times on the job site. The interface is simple, which is good 'cause I don't need any fancy bells and whistles. I just need to know how many damn calories I'm eating. The barcode scanner works, even with my scratched-up phone screen. Battery life ain't great when you're constantly logging, but that's phones these days, right? Rain doesn't seem to mess with it either. It's not perfect, but it's actually rugged enough for my needs and it gets the job done, no BS.

Key Features

Simple calorie tracking that gets the job done.
