Okay, so I tried out the Mary Kay Skin Analyzer, and honestly, I was expecting some basic stuff, but it's actually pretty decent. Under the hood, it's using some kind of image processing algorithm to analyze your skin after you take a selfie. It checks for things like texture, wrinkles, and spots. The UI is clean, and it walks you through the whole process. From a technical standpoint, the image analysis seems pretty accurate, at least compared to what I'd expect. It even gives you a 'skin age' estimate, which, okay, might be a little gimmicky, but still kinda cool. It's not gonna replace a dermatologist, but for a quick check-up and some product recommendations, it's a solid app. I mean, the dev team really thought about making it user-friendly. Loads in about 2-3 seconds on my Pixel 7, and barely uses 60MB of RAM. No more spaghetti code situations here, folks!
