Look, I need to know what's going on in Denver, not just national headlines. Google News usually gets the job done. It's supposed to have a local news section, and when it works, it's actually pretty good. But I've noticed after some updates, that local news option just vanishes. No idea why. I figured out that if you delete the app and reinstall it, the local news comes back. Pain in the butt, but it's a workaround. Battery life seems okay, nothing special. The interface is simple enough, even with gloves on. I wouldn't say it's built like a brick house, but it hasn't broken on me yet, even after a couple of accidental drops off the tailgate. Gets the job done, mostly.

Edit: after deleting and reinstalling the app, missing features have returned. The latest version removed local news, this was one of the best features of this app over Apple News. Now they are essentially the same. 🙁 Reinstall required
