Look, I'm out on the lake half the time, ain't got no signal. So these online-only games are just paperweights. Fishing Planet actually lets you do some offline fishing. The graphics ain't gonna win any awards, but they're good enough, and the fishin' itself is pretty realistic. The tutorial's kinda useless, but once you figure out the controls, it gets the job done. Battery life's always a concern with these phone games, but offline mode definitely helps. I've dropped my phone in the tackle box a couple times and it still runs, so the app's gotta be tougher than it looks. It's no BS, gets you fishin' even when you're off the grid. Just wish the tutorial was built a little better.
