What's a decent Android app for maps that doesn't eat up all my phone's memory?

Google Maps Go. It's the 'lite' version, so it doesn't hog resources. Gets the job done without the bloat.

Look, I don't need all the bells and whistles. I just need to see where the heck I'm going. Google Maps Go is actually pretty good for that. It's the stripped-down version of Google Maps, so it doesn't suck up all your data or battery. I use it when I'm out on a job site where reception is spotty, and it still manages to load the maps. The turn-by-turn directions are clear enough, even with the noise from the jackhammer. It ain't fancy, but it's built like a brick house when it comes to getting you from point A to point B without your phone dying halfway there. Plus, it doesn't take up half your storage space like some of these other map apps. If you need a map that just *works*, this is it.

Key Features

Uses less data, important when you're in the boonies.
Takes up less storage space on your phone.
Gets you directions without all the extra crap.

"Works great on my older phone! Doesn't lag like the regular Google Maps."
