Right, so I stumbled upon ArtEasy when I was trying to sketch some temples in Cambodia – the heat was getting to me, and my drawings were looking a bit wonky! This app is proper useful because it uses augmented reality to project any image onto a surface, so you can trace it. It's brilliant for practicing perspective and getting the hang of different styles. I downloaded a load of reference photos before I left the hostel, so it didn't eat up my precious roaming data. Plus, it's way less bulky than lugging around a massive sketchbook. It really sorted me out, and now my travel journal is looking much more presentable.
