Okay, what's a good Android app for watching anime on the go that isn't, like, totally janky and actually has a decent interface?

Honestly? Anime tv is surprisingly okay. The layout isn't groundbreaking, but it's functional, and I haven't run into any egregious UX fails yet. Plus, it's free!

Okay, so I downloaded Anime tv, and the onboarding flow is... fine. It doesn't try to be too cute, which I appreciate. The information architecture makes sense; I could find what I was looking for without wanting to throw my phone across the room. The video player is basic, but it gets the job done, and the search functionality is surprisingly robust. I was able to find some pretty obscure titles. I mean, it's not *design-forward* or anything, but it's functional. I did notice some minor accessibility issues with color contrast in certain areas – needs a little love there. The hover states tho... non-existent. But hey, for a free app, it's not the worst thing I've seen. Definitely usable for a quick anime fix on the bus.
