Okay, so Goodreads is pretty much the OG for tracking your reading life. The information architecture makes sense, which is crucial. You can create shelves for 'read,' 'to-read,' 'currently-reading,' and then go wild with custom shelves – think 'dystopian faves' or 'books that made me cry on the Skytrain.' The social aspect is cool too; seeing what your friends are reading is great for inspo. I do wish they'd give the UI a bit of a facelift; it's functional, but not exactly design-forward. And the discoverability could be better. Still, for keeping a record of your literary adventures and getting recommendations based on what you've already devoured, it's a solid choice. Plus, the barcode scanner is a lifesaver at used bookstores. I just wish the micro-interactions were a little more *chef's kiss*.
