Okay, so I've been playing Word Tour, and honestly, it's scratching that itch for a game that's both challenging and design-forward. The information architecture makes sense; I'm not overwhelmed with a million different things to do. It's focused, which I appreciate. And those little micro-interactions? The hover states tho! Someone on the design team gets it. It also follows Fitts' Law perfectly – the touch targets are all nicely sized and spaced. The game is also accessible, the text is large and clear, and I can easily adjust the volume. It's pixel-perfect, and the thoughtful UX makes it a winner in my book. I also love that it is fast-moving and doesn't overwhelm you with a bunch of cutesy games along the way.
