Water Eject uses specific sound frequencies to remove liquid from iPhone speakers. The app targets users experiencing audio distortion after water exposure, providing a free solution for emergency liquid ejection scenarios.

Detailed Review

Water Eject ‒ Speaker Cleaner by Tiny Boom Ltd. represents a specialized utility application designed to address liquid intrusion in iPhone speakers through audio frequency manipulation. The app occupies a niche position in the iOS ecosystem, offering an alternative to manufacturer-recommended drying methods for users needing immediate audio restoration after water exposure. The application's core functionality revolves around generating low-frequency sound waves that theoretically displace water particles from speaker components. Users activate the process through a simple interface that requires maximum volume settings for optimal performance. Additional features include a decibel meter for ambient noise measurement and an ultrasonic frequency generator marketed for pest deterrence, though these secondary functions appear less developed than the primary water ejection capability. User experience centers on a minimalist interface with prominent activation buttons and visual feedback during the ejection process. Real-world usage patterns indicate most users deploy the application reactively after liquid exposure incidents, with common scenarios including rainwater exposure, toilet submersion, and accidental spills during cleaning activities. The interface supports both light and dark mode preferences, though some users report extended loading times upon launch. User feedback consistently praises the application's effectiveness in restoring audio quality post-liquid exposure. Reviewer Enhypen4Life:) noted on July 28, 2025 that the app resolved laggy audio after amusement park rainwater exposure, while OliviaMya reported successful water removal after multiple incidents including toilet submersion and snow exposure on July 21, 2025. These accounts suggest the application performs reliably in various water exposure scenarios, though multiple reviewers mention performance delays during application initialization. The application demonstrates clear effectiveness in addressing its primary use case, with numerous verified accounts of successful water removal. Limitations include dependency on speaker functionality for operation and potential loading delays noted by users. While not a substitute for professional repair in severe liquid damage cases, the application provides valuable emergency functionality for minor liquid exposure incidents, particularly given its free access model and straightforward operation.

Key Features

  • Low-frequency sound wave generation displaces water from speaker components through vibration at 0Hz-22,000Hz range
  • Decibel meter functionality measures ambient noise levels for environmental sound monitoring
  • Ultrasonic frequency generator emits high-pitched sounds marketed for pest deterrence applications
  • Dark/light mode switching accommodates user preference and varying lighting conditions
  • Simple one-touch activation requires maximum volume setting for optimal water ejection performance

I was at an Amusement Park and it started raining heavily and my phone got soaked with water in my speakers. When I tried to play music it would sound all laggy. But thanks to this app, everything sounded back to normal. One complaint though, it takes a long time to load when I open the app. Anyways im very happy thxs! :) Satisfied I was at an Amusement Park and it started raining heavily and my phone got soaked with water in my speakers.
