I love being able to read and revisit so many old series from my childhood. This is my new favorite thing. Perfect for flights, late night reading and just casual manga readers can get a chance CYE to get into new series without having to invest in buying multiple volumes :) What an Amazing App !! At $2, it’s definitely worth giving a shot to access some great titles! I signed up to binge How Do We Relationship and it was worth it for that alone. HOWEVER, as a UX designer and long-time manga fan I find myself wishing the built-in reader had better controls and more options. Categorization and browsing experience could also use a lot of work, it can be hard to discover new things to read and find other works by the same author. The selection itself also seems pretty limited. It feels like a huge missed opportunity since I know VIZ has a ton of big titles that the app simply doesn’t support, short of having you buy the volumes outright. Due to this, I’m probably going to keep the subscription for maybe a month to read anything that catches my eye but probably cancel after that.
