I’ve been with Varo since 2019, and even then they were a class above the rest. Now that they have their own bank charter rather than the FinTech model, it’s even better. Build your credit, get a loan or an advance. Separate cards for debit and credit accounts. Easy to use app. I like that I can “freeze” my cards. I’ve yet to have any suspicious transactions on my accounts. Can easily load cash at CVS via ATM for free. Cashing checks has been easy the few I’ve had paper checks. No complaints at all.
