I despise them. 1/21/2021: First, there is no question that the New Yorker’s content is excellent. My issues are technical ones with the app. Specifically, I wish there was a option to disable auto play of videos. Second, when I minimize the app and then go back in, the story I’m reading refreshes itself and takes about 10 seconds to return me back to my place on the page, which is annoying. This app allows me to efficiently navigate the rich magazine. I especially enjoy being able to save articles I’ve read, access the crossword and audio features easily, and access the archive. The one critique I have is that the new update does not launch and brings me back to the AppStore when I’ve already updated the app. Solid app This app allows me to efficiently navigate the rich magazine.
