I have had TALKATONE for several years now and it has always been a life savor. When I don’t always have a regular phone service and when I need to make an important phone call I can always rely on TALKATONE. Wherever there is Wi-Fi and I need to make an emergency phone call I turn to my TALKATONE. I truly appreciate having this service and it’s been my go to app for many many years. The only that has changed since the start of my journey with this company is they started putting restrictions on the amount of calls you can make but I can accept that. With all that being said TALKATONE is one of the oldest and best free apps for phone calls. If you don’t want limited calls, they offer upgrades with other perks and features for a minimal fee. This app is perfect for my needs. I want something simple and that just works. Bonus: It’s reasonably priced, and free if you don’t care if your number changes. Great app! I’m disabled and have been called a recluse a time or two, so when Verizon turned off my phone and sent me to collections I said, wth was I paying so dang much for that thing anyway? However, the idea of going back to dreaded VOIP made my tummy skip the flips and simply flop. When I found this app, I figured, ha - but what’s the catch? I’m nearly 50, on a 1-10 scale I’d say I am a 6 with today’s technology and on that same scale this was a 7 for me so fairly easy for sure. And look, it’s actually FREE if you don’t want any of the fancy bits like securing your number or reading your voice messages. I have to admit, for a while I was in awe. There are no losers here peeps.
