Sway Medical: Concussion Assessment

I used the Sway App throughout college and it helped with my return-to-play during concussion protocol. I did not have to take a SCAT6 or sit down at a computer but received live data when doing my screening and assessments minutes after my injury. I would highly recommend the app to any athletic trainer due to the quick and user friendly interface. Sway medical is bringing healthcare closer to home, especially at the youth ages where they usually don’t have access to anything medical until after the fact. Being able to provide a baseline for athletes is what I do and this has been a very valuable resource. I have hard data that tells me when I need to pull kids from the field. It also informs coaches and parents and provides a visual for them. it also provides a return to play pathway back. The testing itself is very simple and user-friendly. For all those people who gave 1 star it is NOT A GAME it is for medical reasons. It is to see if you have a concussion not to make time go by faster. It is a test not a game.
