stats.fm: Spotify Stats

Does all the things it says. One thing I wish were different tho… You can see your top genres. When you click on the genre, it just lists bands of that genre. Most of them I never heard before. Honestly I installed this bc I wanted to get more scrobbles on the discord fm thing but that’s not what it did, but getting to see my lifetime stats and stuff is coo. App works smooth and gives good instructions. I’ve been using this app for two years now, and I recommend it to all my friends! The premium plan is very reasonably priced and includes every metric I care about. I just have two suggestions: 1. Add a way to block songs from your data. Sometimes on Spotify, you accidentally leave a song playing on loop. On the actual Spotify app, I can click “hide song” which will exclude it from my Spotify wrapped. I would love for this hiding ability to be possible on the app. My top songs of the year have around 200 plays, but simply leaving a song on loop by accident over a single night can accumulate 100 plays. I already have three songs in my top 10 list that I actually hate but somehow left playing on loop and racked up plays. I’d really love a way to hide those songs from my profile, since they don’t represent my authentic plays or music choice. 2. Add the ability to differentiate between a “friend” and a “person to follow”, or at least a way to favorite some friends, maybe just add a custom name for them. I use social tab to swipe on strangers with my same music taste, but I get confused having them displayed in my friend list mixed with friends on the app. Since most people don’t have their face as a profile pic or their name as a username. Anyways, excellent work by the design and engineering team of this app! Keep up the good work! Still loving this app after two years! I have never given an app a review before but I cannot recommend this app enough. I tell everyone I know about it. It shows more data and stats than any other music app I’ve used, and I’ve tried several. Not only does it show your recent listens, it also shows your daily stats, it shows weekly, monthly, 6 months, and yearly. I would also HIGHLY recommend getting the premium version (it’s only a couple bucks a year) and downloading your data from Spotify to put into the app. I also LOVE that I can stalk my friends and see all of the same data for them and all of their recent listens. My only complaint is that it pauses my music sometimes when I go into the app and am currently listening to music. But that’s a very minor problem!! Overall, this is a great app and it’s definitely worth it!
