I always use SpotHero when I need to park in Boston to find parking. One time I was the only one at a baby shower held in Cambridge who had found parking. When I tried to extend my reservation, the app couldn’t extend it. Customer service was super helpful to get me out of a gated parking facility in Jersey city. The day before yesterday, I booked a parking space on Spot Hero and paid for 8 hours. But when I went to the parking lot, the staff told me that there were no parking spaces. Later, I had to drive around the street for more than an hour to find a street parking space. In the end, no one from this scam software came to deal with the matter, and no parking space was given to me and my money was not refunded. I found myself in a situation where a parking garage closed at midnight and I didn’t realize ahead of time, resulting in me having to book an expensive hotel room in NYC because my car had been locked in a garage overnight. Since then I have used SpotHero every time I need a parking garage, and this app has been such a lifesaver! There have been so many occasions of traveling into NYC and other areas that I was able to find parking easily ahead of time and without hassle. The app is wonderful, user-friendly, and in the rare times that I have had to use customer service they have been so incredibly helpful and accommodating. I so appreciate the fact that it is so easy to contact a human when I need help with an app… that is so rare these days! Love this app, can’t recommend enough.
