This is the only “game” I let my kids play on my iPad. My older child (7) is a hesitant reader and this has helped him gain a little confidence without really thinking about it as something to help specifically with reading. My younger child (5) is very advanced for his age and I liked that I was able to set up a more challenging profile for him (at his request) once he saw that he could do the things the older one was working on. We use SplashLearn at home to supplement higher-level learning, and it’s made a huge difference! My kids are thriving at school, and I credit a lot of that to the extra practice and challenge they get through this program. This app has made my child enjoy learning, while helping them read independently. I truly recommend this app. I also have a preschooler is just beginning to read. This app helps my son keep away from the “summer slide”. He is more prepared to go back to school in September because he uses this app to help keep up his reading and math skills. A summer must!
