Whatever ISP you use that has an app that allows you to run a Speedtest is LYING TO YOU. In the past 4 years I’ve had AT&T Fiber, Xfinity, and now I have Google Fiber. Every time I run a Speedtest in the ISP’s app to troubleshoot whatever problem I was having, the results always showed optimal speed. But I always gut checked those results with Speedtest.net and always got the truth, leading me to actually get the tech support I need because every ISP knows Speedtest by OOKLA and knows those numbers are reliable. I finally downloaded the app after years of trust and usage and I literally use it daily as a remote worker.
