I’ve been using the Spectrum TV app for about six months now, and it’s become a staple for catching up on shows during my commute or while traveling. The live TV streaming works smoothly most of the time—I’ve rarely had buffering issues even on 4G. The on-demand library is pretty extensive; I binged all of Succession during a flight delay thanks to offline downloads. The cloud DVR is a nice touch too—being able to schedule recordings remotely saved me when I forgot to set my DVR before a trip. That said, it’s not flawless. Some users report occasional audio glitches on specific channels (looking at you, Telemundo), and the app can sometimes freeze for a few seconds before recovering.
