I have just unlocked every character in the game (for free) after 90 hours so I thought its time to write an actual review. The gameplay itself is really repetitive, but it makes up for it with missions to grind for. They seem to be taking steps to freshen it up like the recent motorbug/dashpad update which I really like. The recent 1-run challenge rewards are really addicting to grind for. Probably my favorite update made to this game. A lot of other quality of life changes are noticed and appreciated. Now for the cons. Bosses are terrible in this game. They are very boring and I avoid them like the plague; even sometimes quitting the run if I accidentally go to one. I’ve noticed that you get cards for beating them now, but I’m still not motivated to go to them at all. Some sort of crafting system would be nice, even if it’s extremely grindy. I am sitting on 70,000 gems and almost 50,000 excess cards from maxed-out characters with no possible way of spending them. Jackpot system can also use a refresh. I don’t feel motivated to even spin it when the jackpot reward is literally just 1,000 rings. To conclude, I did have fun collecting characters. I see this game is going in a good direction with the attention the devs are giving it. Too bad I’m going to lose all my progress once I switch to Android.
