I thought app was discontinued for years… I recently re-downloaded it and someone at Google clearly revived it! I think it’s the best photo editing app out there and it was even before this update. I’ve been a longtime Snapseed user. For mobile-photography, Snapseed is unmatched and way ahead of the competition. I had been used to the way the app wad layed out for years, but suddenly I updated the app and was met with an entirely new UI. Not a fan of it. It feels like an entirely different app. I wish they hopefully will add a “classic view” toggle, because this new layout is counter productive Great editor, but this new look… I’ve been a longtime Snapseed user. I have to adjust my initial 1 ⭐️ review after playing with the “New” Snapseed a bit more. The original capabilities that I liked the app for are still there, although they feel a bit more “buried.” The new look is okay, but it still gives it an appearance of several other apps I use and does not feel as intuitive as before. All-in-all though, I think after getting acclimated to the new look and layout, it will remain a well-used app in my collection. Initial Review: I really liked Snapseed and used it frequently working back and forth between my MacBook Pro and iPad Pro M4. It was unique among other apps due to its ease of use, flexibility, and selection of overlays. Now, sadly, it’s like many other apps I own.
