Sidecar: CarPlay OBD Scanner

Just started playing around with this app after seeing it on instagram. Ordered a scanner to further play with it and get real time information for my Silverado. This app is super innovative and constantly improving. CarPlay is an untapped gem and Sidecar shows what is possible when someone puts effort into growing an application. I have been a beta tester and was amazed by the dedication he Jeff puts in to improve. Now waiting on Mach-E on boarding (actually next in line) But if you have a OBD scanner, must give it a chance. The concept of CarPlay widgets that this app displays and uses is amazing. It’s a shame that widgets aren’t built into CarPlay by default because they really are incredibly useful and makes CarPlay a lot more unique to each person and less bland. I’m writing this review at a time when this app is essentially brand new and I can say that in its current state it’s blown me away.
