Just built a very cool and fun hunt for my company event. It was a super easy and quick process to build my hunt through their website. The Minnesota History Hunt used this app. I was impressed that it always recorded my task even if it sometimes had trouble posting to Facebook. There is an option to upload a photo so you can take a selfie in locations without cell service and then upload later. I loved the option to share my tasks with my friends on social media. I liked being able to see others photos within the app and it felt like we were building some community. I wish that the app would automatically add the hashtag key word to all posts (not just check-ins) so I wouldn’t need to type it each time. I also wish that the app would not distort the uploaded photos. I enjoyed seeing the leaderboard! It was motivating and fun. I just wish that it had a search function and that the dot containing the number would grow to accommodate numbers greater than 99. Our company just used this for a company-wide team building event, and everyone loved it! You normally get grumbling from some folks about "forced fun" or "lame activities" when you try to organize a group event for a variety of ages and attitudes, but to a person, everyone had a good time. We did a young adult church group scavenger hunt in teams of 3 to 5 & it was lots of fun! Contact them if you want a quote on a smaller group rate - they are very helpful, though took a day to get back to me (we were definitely not large enough for the $499 event price). It was great being able to download the photos so we could watch it as a slide show & see all the photos when everyone was done. You can see them all within the app as well, but it was great seeing it on the big screen :) I would add a video clue/upload option. The GPS worked well except for one person (I believe maybe her phone security was set to block the app from using it) & one GPS clue didn't work at all but I think maybe I did not make the search radius large enough or perhaps I entered it incorrectly. They just texted a photo taken at the location to me so we added those points at the end on paper. I really like that as the hunt creator you can actually edit clues & point values during the hunt in case it turns out to be very difficult & should be worth more or a clue is unclear. Also being able to delete a photo (as a participant AND as created/administrator) if it isn't what was asked for so they can re-do the clue item is great. It would have been nice to be able to change the start time- my MC/emcee went longer on intro than I expected so the app had gone live before everyone was ready & so some people got a head start. Being able to add points as admin/creator would be cool (we gave bonus points outside of the app on top of clue values for most creative photo of certain clues, for when I had the GPS coordinates wrong, & for best costume- it was halloween time) Recap- 1. add video capability (I really wanted to have the participants do the Macarena in the grocery checkout, & have a stranger serenade them!) 2. Be able to edit start (& end time- which I believe is already 'editable'). 3. Maybe have an admin point addition option? Thanks so much for an epic event, we'll do it again next year :) So much fun! This was an engaging, motivating, educational and FUN activity! The app was easy to use, participants had a blast completing tasks and competing to get on top 5 of leader board, and most importantly we all had FUN learning a little more about our product and each other!
