If you want an all sailing in passage, wind and tide planner Savvy Navvy does a great job putting it all together!! Its easy to use, intuitive and works great on my iPhone. Depending on the route, it can take awhile to process a course but the results makes this worthwhile. Its features include useful information on on marinas which can be added as a way point! Great app. I had been using another navigation app when I discovered Savvy Navy. It is considerably easier to use. Happy with my one year subscription. I began planning a trip from Seattle to Ketchikan, Alaska when I discovered this app. In conjunction with an anthology of anchorage sites, I have preselected multiple anchorages, set the correct way points, and plotted the entire route. Charts are current and tide/weather conditions can be had as we drop lines and head north, allowing us to navigate safely. Saving routes and waypoints gives us flexibility to tailor our route as we go. Big high 5 for the developers.
