I was gifted a Rocketbook Notebook a while ago but never bothered to use it because I was happy with my current note taking process. After driving out of pages in my conventional notebook I decided to tryout my gift. Wow! What a game changer! There is so much to like here. For instance: - the OCR is incredible. My handwriting is far from easily legible but I have no trouble reading my scanned notes. - the filing system for the scans is simple and intuitive and makes record keeping a breeze. - being able to tag each page let's me search and find my clients notes within seconds. - I was spending $20-40 a month on high quality notebooks. I can use one Rocketbook notebook over and over and over saving me much time and money. The bottom line for me is the Rocketbook system is a great product for heavy note takers like me and it improves on every aspect of the conventional way of recording, storing, and searching for handwritten notes. But here I am, carefully drying my erasable notebook before I board a plane… I could bring a dozen notebooks for each part of my life, but instead I just carry one Rocketbook now. Every few months it fills up and I have to erase it, then dry the pages… odd, but worth it. I sync different topics to my work folders, or personal life folders. It really is an easy way to stay (slightly) organized. It’s great for whiteboard type discussions. I’ve given them to friends, and even bought a smaller notebook to cart to lunch. I’m using it more after a year, not less. The app is good too. Simple. Does one thing well. Gets your notes into Google Drive. I don’t generally write reviews but I have so so many good things to say about this. I picked up the rocketbook core at my Walmart on sale for 14 dollars. I went home and was super excited to try this, I’ve always wanted to reduce my environmental impact and not go through as many notebooks so this is perfect. On top of that I’m an art student so this is quite literally my favorite thing right now. Now on to the actual experience, the paper is super durable doesn’t rip or tear, anything of the sort, the pen writes so smoothly and it honestly feels better than writing on actual paper but still has the classic pen and paper feel, the eraser on the pen works very very well and leaves no smudge marks, the app is super easy to use and well organized, easy to navigate, and scans the pages perfectly, and the microfiber cloth completely wipes away any trace of ink with little to no effort. I can wait for taking notes with this and I can’t wait to see what other things rocketbook comes up with. WOW!!!!
