Ro provides online access to US-licensed healthcare professionals for weight management, sexual health, and skincare treatments. The platform combines telehealth consultations with prescription fulfillment and insurance processing for comprehensive remote care.

Detailed Review

Ro represents a significant player in the digital healthcare market, offering telehealth services across multiple specialized treatment areas including weight management, sexual health, fertility, and skincare. The platform connects users with US-licensed healthcare professionals through a completely online interface, positioning itself as a comprehensive solution for those seeking convenient medical care without physical appointments. The core functionality revolves around an initial online assessment process followed by virtual consultations with healthcare providers. The platform facilitates prescription approvals, coordinates with insurance providers, and manages medication delivery directly to users' homes. Treatment options include FDA-approved medications like Wegovy for weight management, with blood testing services included in subscription packages. The service operates through a freemium model where users create accounts on Ro.co before accessing the mobile application. User experience demonstrates a streamlined interface that guides patients through medical intake forms, provider matching, and treatment planning. The iOS application maintains consistent functionality with the web platform, though some users note the absence of dark mode functionality as a visual limitation. Real-world usage patterns show most users complete initial consultations within the same day and receive medications within 2-3 days of approval, demonstrating efficient operational workflows. User feedback trends indicate high satisfaction with insurance processing capabilities and prescription fulfillment speed. Reviewer BoycotWayfair (July 1, 2025) noted appreciation for the platform's insurance advocacy efforts, while stevee a (June 24, 2025) confirmed rapid medication delivery timelines. Multiple reviews from June-August 2025 consistently praise the seamless experience from consultation to medication receipt, though some users like arnellm (June 24, 2025) have requested dark mode implementation. The platform demonstrates particular strength in streamlining insurance approvals and medication access, though users should note that medication costs remain separate from subscription fees. Ideal for individuals seeking specialized treatments with insurance coverage, Ro provides legitimate healthcare services but requires understanding of the complete pricing structure before commitment. The service excels for those prioritizing convenience and specialized care over traditional in-person medical visits.

Signed up at the discounted $45. Subscription charge for the first month. Then it would be the full pumice for additional months, $145. Did my paperwork, doctor reviewed and approved my prescription, the medication cost is NOT included and I read everything on the website so. I was aware of that. Some aren’t reading the information and then complaining and shucking that responsibility onto the RO company. After the doctor wrote and submitted my RX, I received the medication a few days later. It comes to my door monthly via FedEx next day air. No problems. Thankful for the ease of the whole process. I had a question and I submitted the email received a response in the timeframe promised. Thank you, RO. I’m a happy customer/patient. Seamless. Signed up at the discounted $45. Subscription charge for the first month. Then it would be the full pumice for additional months, $145. This app is wonderful. I was able to set up my account, get a blood test and get my results within 3 days! Unfortunately my insurance didn’t cover the medication otherwise I would continue using the app. I highly recommend this app if you are looking to try GLP-1s even if you don’t think you’ll be covered it is soo easy to at least check. I signed up for Ro Body and so far the service is 100 percent as advertised. With help of provider, I selected Wegovy auto pen due to cost and convenience. After a blood test which is included in the Ro subscription price, I received my Wegovy in the mail within two days direct from the manufacturer. I personally think Ro is pretty good value bc it removes a lot of friction. I looked into getting medication through a primary care doctor but it cost $150 for an office visit and would have had to pay for the labs. Then at least for the first few months, you have to go back to the primary care doctor to get your script re newed . So doing it that way is kinda annoying (need to have a lot of extra time on your hands) and still costs several hundred dollars on a high deductible plan. Furthermore, since Ro is working directly with both Lilly and Novo, you can get the medication sent direct and is always in supply. For me, the customer service has been fine. It seems like it’s pretty much text message based but I’ve gotten all my responses within 24 hours. I would definitely recommend Ro bc the other potentially cheaper routes are just way less convenient. I didn’t do Hims bc they didn’t have a deal with Lilly like Ro and the compounding stuff sketches me out. I was using a compounded topical hair medication and FDA issued a warning on it right after I started using it. I personally wouldn’t feel comfortable injecting a knock off drug vs using a brand with a ton of clinical testing.
