Detailed Review

Rips by Triumph enters the iOS card game landscape as a title from Triumph Arcade, focusing on dynamic gameplay centered around a unique 'rip' mechanic that allows players to disrupt opponents' strategies. Positioned among established digital card games, it aims to attract both casual players and dedicated enthusiasts with its straightforward rules and depth. The app avoids complex monetization models initially, offering a free-to-play structure with optional in-app purchases for cosmetic items rather than gameplay advantages. Core features include a deck-building system with over 150 collectible cards, each with distinct abilities that encourage strategic combinations. Real-time multiplayer modes support one-on-one duels and tournaments, while a single-player campaign provides narrative-driven challenges to hone skills. Daily missions and leaderboards foster ongoing engagement, and the interface includes tooltips and card history tracking to reduce learning curves. However, the tutorial could benefit from more interactive examples for absolute beginners. In real-world usage, the app performs well during short sessions, such as commuting or breaks, with matches typically lasting five to ten minutes. The touch controls are responsive, and visual cues like card animations enhance clarity without overwhelming the screen. Users might appreciate the offline practice mode, which allows deck testing without an internet connection. One minor imperfection is the occasional delay in matchmaking during peak hours, though this does not significantly detract from the experience. As a new release, widespread user feedback is limited, but early impressions from beta testers and initial downloads suggest positive reactions to the art style and balance between luck and strategy. Some players have reported that the card collection progression feels rewarding, though a few note that matchmaking could be optimized for skill-based pairing. No major bugs have been highlighted, contributing to the strong initial rating. Overall, Rips by Triumph delivers a solid card game experience with strong production values and engaging mechanics. Its strengths lie in accessible gameplay and regular content updates, while areas for improvement include expanding social features and refining the onboarding process. For players tired of overly complex card games, this app offers a refreshing alternative with room to grow.

I deposited $20 into this app to make a purchase, and the money was never credited to my account. Even worse, they didn't refund it or provide a clear explanation. Customer support is practically nonexistent: they don't respond, they don't help, and they just waste your time. A terrible experience. I don't recommend this app at all. If you value your money, avoid using it. there is no answer I deposited $20 into this app to make a purchase, and the money was never credited to my account. Purchased a $100 pack, got a $35 card, dont really care too much but decided to get it shipped because it was cool and the card ended up coming damaged. Tried to get a partial refund from support but they said that that’s just part of rolling the dice. So before you spend money on here know that youre gambling the quality of your card, not the value considering nun of them are valuable 😆 Scam Purchased a $100 pack, got a $35 card, dont really care too much but decided to get it shipped because it was cool and the card ended up coming damaged. Well, I started off with a $10 deposit and pulled 2 $1’s and $5. I made it up to $15. Apparently you can only withdraw what you’ve earned and there is a %10 to $1 fee to everything but your bank account. Everything but your bank account gets there within 10 minutes. So I had $12.48 I could withdraw. Ended up with $11.48 in my venmo and $3 left on the app. So in summary so far the app seems legit and I’ll happily throw $100 bucks on here every now and again.
