I left my alarm in away mode for 4 1/2 months and the battery never wore down even when getting messages in battery backup as the internet went down at my home. Really like that dependability. I love my ring doorbell. I just had a problem just recently and thank goodness. I've got it on tape. Now I'm hoping to get a camera for the front of my garage. All this makes me feel so much safer. I've had my Ring doorbell for less than a year and I like it so far. It was so much fun at Christmas time with the Grinch Recordings and I was so disappointed to find out they weren't available year-round. I would love to have other short and funny recordings available to choose from throughout the year--especially during certain holidays. 😄 I would also like to mention that the current standard recordings sound very commercial and I would never use them. Thanks anyway and I look forward to any new, clean and fun recordings in the future. Take care! We have outside Ring cameras, and a doorbell. Inside we have Amazon Shows throughout the house. Since the latest update to Alexa + Alexa has been announcing “Someone is at the front door” for our Ring doorbell on all the Alexa devices in the home. That feature (Motion alerts) is turned off in the Ring App so Alexa shouldn’t be announcing anything. Please fix. Problem With Alexa + We have outside Ring cameras, and a doorbell.
