If you're tired of the same old pool apps, this one actually feels fresh. The card-based progression system adds strategy beyond just sinking balls, and the physics are satisfyingly realistic. Perfect for casual players and tournament enthusiasts alike.

My Full Experience

I’ve spent way too much time testing pool games on iOS, and Pool Masters stands out for nailing the fundamentals. The physics engine handles English and bank shots convincingly—you can actually plan two or three moves ahead like real pool. What really hooked me was the card system: collecting and upgrading abilities like 'Precision Aim' or 'Power Break' adds a RPG-like layer that makes progression feel meaningful. That said, the controls take some getting used to. The swipe mechanic isn’t as intuitive as a virtual cue stick at first, and occasionally the 'ball in hand' rule feels inconsistently applied (though that might just be me misjudging). Multiplayer matchmaking can be slow—you’ll often face bots, which are almost too good sometimes. But the devs are clearly iterating; recent updates smoothed out lag and added new tournament modes. Graphics are crisp without draining battery, and the felt textures and lighting effects make games visually immersive. If you enjoyed GamePigeon but wanted deeper gameplay, this is your upgrade.

There are some issues with mechanics for lack of a better word. Sometimes it seems like ball in hand other times not, just a little inconsistency but it could be me. they’ve done a great job and I look forward to their next release. Graphics are great. Generally follows the typical pool apps just with a few mechanical things with the stick that seem glitchy. nobody plays this game so you play bots that have a 95% success rate of winning. i don’t ever get a turn unless im breaking. just a poorly made game. unbelievable nobody plays this game so you play bots that have a 95% success rate of winning. i don’t ever get a turn unless im breaking. just a poorly made game.

Neat mechanism for a pool tourney game to use Gaming Cards to increase your skill set. Ability to level up the cards to improve your pool game. I feel there is some improvements on controls and a little more tutorial all around. But it’s a new game you can tell is being built to be continuously improve, by adding new cards and new levels. Overall great game - a bit addictive the better you get to understanding the controls.
