The map scroll/zoom only works if you access by clicking an event from the news timeline. Ads are annoying but short. Giving 5 stars to support as I’ve followed these guys’ work since the Syrian war and there are no similar services I’m aware of. The app is good for the most part, but there are some map bugs. For example, sometimes you get stuck on a zoomed in portion. Reloading the app fixes it fine, though. Recent updates have really improved the map. Before, I could only see Russian advance, but now I can see Ukrainian counteroffensive too. The only other problem is ads. They are a bit annoying. You just have to wait them out. There come around often but not often enough to be a nuisance. I would have preferred border ads. Kills the aesthetic, but much less annoying. The Wikipedia approach of asking for donations would be ideal but, given the small user base, that may be impossible. Overall, still would recommend. Please add text selection and translation into the languages we want. I want to know the events in my Arabic language. Thank you.
