4 weeks in and I can't believe how much Korean I've learned. The interactive voice calls are what make this different from everything else. You actually practice speaking which is something most apps don't do. I recọmmended it to my study group and they all love it too. Only cọmplaint is sometimes the app takes a while to load after the lesson has been cọmpleted but it's worth the wait. I tried duolingo for like 6 months and didn't feel like I was getting anywhere. Switched to LingoTok 3 weeks ago and I'm already having basic conversations in Spanish!! OMG!!!! Most apps just teach you to read and write but LingoTok focuses on actual conversation which is what you really need. The voice practice is invaluable for building confidence. Learning Italian and I can already have basic conversations with native speakers. Sometimes there's a delay when the AI responds but it's not too bad. I was skeptical at first because there's so many language apps out there but this one actually delivers. The conversations feel natural and the AI adjusts to your level. I've been using it for German lessons and I can already understand way more than before. The timeout fix in the latest update was really needed, glad they listened to feedback.
