This game is genuinely fun to play and has a lot of potential, but it could use some key improvements to become truly engaging. One of the best parts is being able to interact with your child and partner, which makes the family dynamic feel alive. However, the world outside your home is very limited. You can’t meet neighbors, have friends, or explore the outside world, which makes life in the game feel a little isolated. Adding pets would also bring more warmth and personality to the household. Customization is another area where the game could really shine. Currently, there aren’t enough skin tones or hairstyle options, especially for Black characters. Expanding these options would make the game feel more inclusive and let players create characters they can truly relate to. Family and relationship features also need more depth. It would be amazing to see and control your partner, decide whether your characters stay together or not, and even plan weddings. Right now, partners can’t sleep together, which feels unrealistic and limits the immersion. Child gameplay could be much richer, too. Babies currently appear as full children, skipping over the early stages that make raising them exciting. You also can’t name or customize them. Adding baby stages, toddler growth, and more items for kids would make family life feel more rewarding and dynamic. The home system feels restrictive as well. Players can’t customize their houses or build new rooms for children, which limits creativity and family growth. Overall, this game has a solid foundation and is genuinely enjoyable, but there’s so much untapped potential. With expanded customization, deeper family interactions, social features like neighbors and friends, pets, and more dynamic child and home mechanics, this could easily become a standout game in its genre. I’m excited to see how the developers continue to evolve it—there’s a lot of promise here!
