Very accurate and fun app to use for all your coin questions. Affordable also . Coins Very accurate and fun app to use for all your coin questions. Affordable also .
The app offers an estimated value of your coins. It also saves the coin info in folders you can create and label. Also, it appears you can have your coin appraised. I don’t know how this portion is done, but , what I do know is getting an appraisal should mean sending your coin to the appraiser. This will have a fee of course. The appraisal will come with a certificate and grade. They should package it as well. I have not done this feature since I don’t believe every single coin I have was coming up at a value worth more than the coins face value. Can this be true? Some by a small margin and some by a lot compared to the coins face value (.01 cent = $10. Or $20.). I am skeptical and I do not want to pay upwards of $35 for an appraisal plus shipping for something that is appraised at a lesser value than its certification fees. The app is nice, yet difficult to navigate. I did a lot of saving just to find out my collection wasn’t saved it was just cataloged temporarily. There’s no extra cost to create a folder and save them but it made a complicated mess before I actually started getting comfortable with the process. Then all my coins I threw back into the pile so I’d have to start over again anyway. I’d like to get pages of coin holders so I can keep them in order and note each one. The app offers to put up your coins for sale if you want to Ming other users and not sure who else would be browsing the library but it seems a lot of coins sell for very low amounts. And What About Every coin being identified at a higher value than its face value. It doesn’t seem right. AND I HAVE A LOT OF COINS! One thing I think is true but not sure because I really don’t know enough to catch is it doesn’t identify error coins. I’m not saying I have error coins but what if I do and it never told me? Also there’s no mention of such in the app for these type coins. I’d like to know without a doubt where to go to sell if a high dollar coin is in my piles. Better than online, I’m thinking. Good luck! Fun but not sure how accurate The app offers an estimated value of your coins. It also saves the coin info in folders you can create and label. This app I have just started using, and it is very good in scanning and giving you the details of the coin and excellent value in range. I have used other apps, but this is the best one.
