I love Google Playbooks app more than any of the popular reading apps. I really like its aesthetics, really appeals to me. However, biggest downfall is that it does not currently display the current time when reading. I personally like to indulge in a good book between 12-2 AM. But sometimes I get too into it and it’s like 3 AM. I would like to have the feature to display the current time. I think at the top middle of the screen would be the best. Also, I’m a programmer, so I know this is not hard to implement at all. If others do not want the time, then just make an if statement that if they tapped on the time, make it disappear from the screen. Tap the spot again to bring it back.
