GloryFit Review: Health Tracking with Room for Polish

by Shenzhen Ultra Easy Technology Co., Ltd.

If you need a central hub to sync data from a compatible smartwatch, the GloryFit app provides basic fitness and health monitoring. Designed to help users track steps, sleep, and heart rate, it connects wearable devices to an iPhone. The experience is functional for core tracking, though some interface elements show their age.

Detailed Review

GloryFit, developed by Shenzhen Ultra Easy Technology Co., Ltd., serves as the companion software for a range of the company's budget-friendly smartwatches and fitness bands. The app occupies a specific niche in the crowded health and fitness market, targeting users who prioritize device connectivity and fundamental biometric data over a polished, standalone application experience. Its primary role is to bridge the gap between hardware and iOS, allowing for data synchronization and basic device configuration. Core functionality revolves around health metric aggregation and notification mirroring. Once paired via Bluetooth, the app displays daily step counts, sleep duration and quality analysis, continuous or spot-check heart rate readings, and sometimes blood oxygen levels, depending on the connected device's capabilities. It also handles basic smartwatch functions like call and message alerts, sedentary reminders, and alarm setting. The feature set is comprehensive on paper, covering the essentials expected from a wearable companion app in this price segment. In real-world use, the app performs its primary syncing task adequately, though the user interface presents hurdles. Navigating between different data screens—steps, heart rate, sleep—is straightforward, but the visual presentation lacks refinement. Data is presented in clear graphs and numbers, but the overall aesthetic feels utilitarian. Setting up notifications or adjusting watch faces can involve menu diving that isn't always intuitive, potentially frustrating for users seeking a seamless setup. User feedback consistently highlights two contrasting areas. Many reviews praise the app's reliability in core syncing and the value it unlocks from affordable hardware, with comments like 'The app works great!' being common. However, a significant portion of feedback critiques specific usability pain points. Multiple users explicitly request larger, customizable font sizes for displayed notifications, citing that 'The text is too small to read.' Others report occasional Bluetooth synchronization conflicts where the phone shows a connection but the app does not, leading to failed data updates. These reports suggest variability in connection stability across different iPhone models or iOS versions. Ultimately, GloryFit is a practical tool that fulfills its basic promise of connecting a wearable to a phone. Its strengths lie in providing accessible health data tracking and notification management for users invested in the Ultra Easy hardware ecosystem. Its limitations are largely tied to user experience details—font scalability, occasional connectivity gremlins, and a functional but dated interface. For the price-conscious user who already owns a compatible device, it gets the job done, but those prioritizing a slick, standalone app experience may find it lacking.

Key Features

  • Comprehensive health tracking syncs steps, heart rate, sleep patterns, and blood oxygen data from your connected wearable device to a centralized iOS dashboard.
  • Smart notification mirroring displays incoming calls, SMS, and app alerts directly on the paired watch, keeping users informed without checking their phone.
  • Device management tools allow users to customize watch faces, set sedentary and hydration reminders, and configure alarms directly through the app.
  • Sleep analysis provides a breakdown of sleep stages, including light, deep, and awake times, along with a simple sleep quality score each morning.
  • Historical data review lets users scroll through past days and weeks of collected fitness metrics to observe trends and progress over time.
  • Bluetooth pairing and synchronization maintains a connection with the wearable, automatically uploading exercise and health data to the app for storage.

The app works great! I love it! But they need to add stuff. 1. They need to app texting on the messaging app - (e.g., Your mom says go down to do dishes, i don’t go on my phone and tell her it if i could text in my watch. 2. Make the font less robotic and make it more alive. - The font is just weird and too small. Overall it’s a great watch and great app. Good app but some recommendations The app works great! I love it! I got this app for my watch of course, and all the features work great. My biggest problem ( and probably by only one) is that even though you can have a custom face, you can not have multiple custom faces on the watch itself instead of having the default ones and a single custom face on the watch. You have to got to the app to change the custom one when you want a different one. You also can not have heart rate or the date or anything except your steps and time on there. It should definitely be more customizable. Most of it’s great though! Great, but could be improved I got this app for my watch of course, and all the features work great.
