I was so excited about this but there comes the catch…100$ for paid features. I was going to buy one for my nephew who is a nurse and is going to medical school but I had to change my mind. The device is beautiful and has a very professional look but if you can’t use all the features it’s kinda like having a beautiful dress that doesn’t fit you. If at least we could pay it monthly… but you have to pay the whole yearly fee at once. Useless without paid features I was so excited about this but there comes the catch…100$ for paid features. I downloaded the app and created an account only to find that I can’t even use the stethoscope features without signing up for the two week free trial. Since I am about to leave on vacation, this is useless. I don’t want the paid features. I enjoy the stethoscope a lot, but I never find myself wanting to pull my phone out with patients around. I think that a smart watch version of the app would be more practical.
